Skip the trip to the Land of mehmet OZ (Part 1)

As people of all backgrounds in this country become aware of the story behind where their foods come from, I mean everything from petrochemical fertilizers, toxic pesticides and dangerous fumigants, the agro-chemical industry is launching an all out media war against the booming organic industry, in which for the first time has become  increasingly main stream. According to Cornucopia institute, agro-chemical industry's must have found communications specialists that apparently have  found willing partners to discourage people from buying organic, whole or local foods, why? Because they see themselves being out of business in the future. The message of agro-chemical industry's is always the same, reporters and other puppets downplay the role and harm caused by agro-chemicals and focus instead on the differences between a handful of common nutrients, despite overwhelming scientific evidence saying otherwise.  And of course the conclusion is always the same, the price of  organic isn't worth the price. First of all their are organic products that are far superior to their traditional counterparts, such as milk, beef, eggs, strawberries and tomatoes, which contain more healthy antioxidants,omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and E which help to fight cancer.Which some ,if not most of the pesticides from conventional veggies create within the body over time.Monsanto and companies like them are trying to tell us that Vegetables that have pesticide residue which are heated during processing, then placed in a container lined with a suspected endocrine disruptor are just as healthy as those for sale at a farmer's market, picked fresh from a local field  hours ago. The purpose of these media reports is to pull people away from buying local and organic,(or both) and transport us back to blissful ignorance. In the new "Time "magazine Dr. Oz(whom once told millions of viewers "I want you to eat organic foods" and "your kids deserve better than to be part of a national chemistry experiment" has seemingly changed his tune over night and turned the decision to buy organic foods into a political ,class warfare issue. Which leads me to think if he ever really believed in what he was saying. We already know that Monsanto and companies like them are willing to shell out big bucks to fight this movement, just look at what happened with Prop 37(the No to GMO law.) Monsanto  out spent supporters of Prop 37  2 to 1. So the question is how much is Dr. Oz getting paid? Not only did Dr. Oz write that conventional foods are nutritionally the same(which is a pile of what the cow left in the middle of the field),but Dr. Oz never mentions pesticide contamination. He then goes on to call organic foods "elitist". So I decide to buy organic produce for myself ,wife and children to protect them from agricultural chemicals,I'm now a food snob, according to the great and powerful...Dr Oz. I guess 80% of consumers that buy organic, are elitist and 62% of those that are extremely worried about Gmo's are elitist as well. And 73% of consumers 18-34 that buy organic are elitist too. This study was done over a year and a half ago, and evidence shows that the number of those buying organic foods continues to grow , so no wonder Monsanto is trying to  turn  the tide in the other direction,by using main stream doctors like Oz and other media outlets to discourage consumers from buying Organic foods. For me Dr. Oz has always teetered on the line between Conventional foods and Organic foods. He's finally fallen on the the side of Conventional foods, with some help from the proverbial dollar from Monsanto. Yes Dr. Oz Organic foods aren't just for the 1% elite, but 100%.
